The Beroun, Brdy and Podbrdsko Digital Visitor Card is back. The second year brings new experiences and more partners
A trip to the Koněprusy Caves, relaxing at a riverside glamping site, a ride on a pedal boat, or a coffee and homemade dessert after a bike ride. The digital visitor card linking the Berounsko, Brdy and Podbrdsko tourist regions is entering its second season and will once again show visitors the region in a more entertaining, convenient and cost-effective way this year. The project, which links tourist destinations, gastronomy, accommodation and leisure activities, builds on last year’s successful launch. This year, further attractive locations and services have joined the visitor card scheme, enabling both tourists and locals to discover the region in a new way whilst saving money.
“This year, we’ve expanded our range of discounts for visitors and secured new partners. There’s something for everyone, from families with children to active couples and senior citizens. They can look forward to new and exciting experiences, such as hiring pedalos at Autokemp Beroun, accommodation at Glamping Nad Meandry, or a discount on food and drink at the Jelito Kopyto restaurant in Bubovice. They also have the chance to visit the popular Koněprusy Caves with a 10% discount on admission. If they activated the app last year, they are automatically entitled to use the discounts again this year. “With the digital visitor card, visitors can save up to several hundred crowns per family over a weekend,”saysHana Hájková, director of the Berounsko destination organisation.
The range of offers in Brdy and Podbrdsko is also expanding. E-bikerent has recently joined the scheme, offering a free one-day bike hire or a discount on a week’s hire of an e-bike. The digital card now also includes Apartments at Svatá Hora, Café U bylinkové zahrádky and Zlatý časy Patisserie. “This year, too, the aim of the digital card is to develop tourism in the region and connect high-quality local services. This year, we are focusing on expanding the range of offers and raising awareness of the card. New partners and interesting places worth discovering are being added. The card thus remains a practical guide to the region and, at the same time, an incentive to explore the Beroun, Brdy and Podbrdsko regions to the full and from a new perspective. “We believe that this year, too, it will find its place among both tourists and local residents,”addsPetra Šnajdrová, Director of the Brdy and Podbrdsko region.
The digital card works simply via a mobile app. Simply download it, activate it with participating partners, and then enjoy discounts on admission, experiences, dining or accommodation. Another advantage of the digital visitor card is its simplicity – users who activated the card last year can automatically enjoy the discounts again this year.
