Information for tourists

The Brdy Protected Landscape Area is accessible to cyclists and hikers. Vehicles are not allowed.

The Brdy Protected Landscape Area covers an area of 345 ^km2. The proposed routes represent only a fraction of the possibilities for hikers, cyclists, fitness runners, photographers and nature lovers. Do not overestimate your strength or orienteering skills. Some Brda locations are not yet covered by mobile signal. Get a detailed map, wear sturdy shoes and respect nature.

Basic rules of behaviour in the Brdy Protected Landscape Area:
- Part of the area is a former military area, if you find ammunition, do not handle it and call the Czech Police, you are helping the safety of others.
- Be careful, you may encounter forestry equipment on the roads.
- Please take what you bring to Brda, you are helping to keep the area clean.
- Please observe the fire ban.
- Please observe the camping ban.
