The days are getting warmer and warmer, making it the perfect time to plan outings – and not just to the countryside. There’s plenty you can get up to with your children in Příbram too. Why not take inspiration from some of our tips?
Hidden Stories – Mary in Flames
This outdoor mobile game takes you on a journey through 11 stops in Příbram, from its historic centre, through Březové Hory, all the way to Svatá Hora. You’ll travel back in time and, together with Lojzík Soukup, set out to find a way to rescue his dad, who’s trapped in a fire at the Mariánský Mine.
The route is 6.7 km long and is suitable for children aged 6 to 13.
The Příbram Mining Museum offers a whole range of guided tours that can be adapted even for the youngest visitors – however, for safety reasons, access to the underground areas is only permitted for children aged 3 and over. Children will learn about the lives of miners and work in the mines in a fun way. And they might even meet some mountain gnomes.
The Nový Rybník complex offers activities for young and old alike. Here you’ll find a natural swimming area, a skatepark, adventure golf and an inline skating track. A water play area and the Rákosníček playground await the children. They can let off steam on two inflatable trampolines, walk along the adventure nature trail through the riparian zone, or visit the local petting zoo.
And Svatá Hora is definitely one of the places you mustn’t miss when visiting Příbram. The site is also open to families with children. As well as a tour of the grounds, during which children can take part in an interactive quiz or complete educational worksheets, don’t forget to visit the Svatá Hora Pilgrimage Museum.
