Mining museum in Příbram – Drkolnov slide and mining train

You can enter underground of the Anna Mine and have a ride in mining train through the Prokop Stole to the deepest shaft of Březová Hora area.

Mining train

The original train ride was reconstructed in 1884 for silver and lead ore transportation. The mining museum opened the tourist attraction for children and adults in a trail of the Ševčinský Mine in Březové Hory. No other mining museum in the Czech Republic transports visitors from one part of mine to another. Not only is the mining train an interesting means of transportation, but the ride also enables untraditional views on Brdy Mountains.

The train track is 230 m long.

Drkolnov Slide in Mining Museum

The Anna Mine and the Vojtěch Mine are connected by 330-m-long accessible water stole from the 18th century and 750m-long "water floor" Wasserlauf from 16th century accessible by a lift. Drkolnov Mine is about 1,5 km far, transportation by car or feet is necessary. Sturdy shoes and proper clothing are recommended (temperature in the underground is 8 C°).
