During the reconstruction, the lake was revitalised, mud was removed, and dams were reconstructed. The island with the new gazebo and a gate of love was also reinforced and improved. An adventurous footbridge leads to the island, a sandy beach with sunshades was created, and the area also provides piers, seating areas, water playground for children, leisure grounds, inflatable trampolines and other features.

During summer, a mini campground with wooden cabins or places for tents operates here, offering refreshments and seating. The local outdoor cinema is another good tip for a pleasant evening.

In summer, entertaining programs are run here every afternoon except Sundays. They include competitive games, creative workshops and play. Regular mini disco on Wednesdays is also very popular. 

Sports equipment hire, sanitary facilities, refreshment with seating, inline trail and adventure golf are available. 

The new adventure golf was created here during the complete reconstruction of the former mini golf grounds. The operation started on 1 June 2019.

Rákosníček’s playground

A children’s playground with the symbol of Rákosníček is situated in the Nový rybník recreational area. It motivates children to active play with a large climbing frame, sandpit, sloped climbing wall, obstacles, merry-go-round and various types of swings. The quiet zone includes a small house and plentiful benches with a sealed surface for pushers. Rákosníček’s playground is intended mainly for pre-schoolers.

The workout playground Predator Park is available not only for adults, but also for children in Příbram in the Ryneček area. Two new sports sets that will excite not only adult enthusiasts interested in Predator Race or Spartan Race, but also children have been constructed near the sports grounds and the children’s playground. The new Predator Park was designed and prepared by the team around Michal Dlouhý, the founder of the extreme Predator Race. The new sets are now freely available. The town of Příbram invested CZK 770,000 into the construction of the new grounds.
