The laying of the foundation stones took place on 24 May 1936. Contributions of 300,000 crowns were raised from the followers and supporters of the church, especially local miners, to build the church. It was built during six months of 1936 in Prokopská Street according to the design of architects Vachata and Bílek and inaugurated on 25 October 1936 in the presence of many important personalities of the town and clergymen, headed by Patriarch Dr. G. A. Procházka. Three bells named Hus, Masaryk and Farský were acquired for the congregation.

The tower is 30 m high and offers a beautiful view of Příbram and its surroundings, as well as the distant Brda forests.
