Brdoviny 2026
The Brd and Podbrdsko Tourist Region destination organisation is once again publishing its popular tourist magazine, *Brdoviny*, which offers readers plenty of inspiration for exploring the Brd and Podbrdsko regions.

The new edition is available free of charge at more than sixty distribution points across the region, particularly at tourist information centres throughout the area. This year’s issue is also more comprehensive than previous editions, offering even more tips for day trips, points of interest in the region and invitations to cultural and social events. It includes an overview of the most interesting sights in the Příbram, Dobříš, Hořovice, Hostomice, Březnice, Rožmitál and Hvožďany areas.
Readers can look forward not only to practical tourist information, but also to articles devoted to the local natural environment, history and traditions. A key feature of this year’s edition, for example, is a special double-page spread marking the tenth anniversary of the designation of the Brdy Protected Landscape Area, which highlights the uniqueness of the local landscape and the changes it has undergone in recent years. Another new feature is a presentation of the activities of the Brdy and Podbrdsko Tourist Area, which has long been bringing together local municipalities, institutions and businesses to jointly develop tourism in the region.
Brdoviny also serves as a practical guide for the coming season. The newspaper includes an extensive events calendar covering everything up to the end of October – from traditional fairs and festivals, through concerts and summer film screenings, to family programmes and historical events. This makes it easy for visitors and local residents alike to plan a trip and combine it with one of the events that give the Brdy Mountains and the Podbrdsko region their unique atmosphere. Brdoviny thus once again confirms that the region offers countless experiences not only during the summer, but throughout the entire tourist season.
